Congratulations Governor Elect
Great news from, of all places, Louisianna. They just elected the country's first Indian-American, governor, Bobby Jindal. Mr. Jindal, has an incredibly impressive background - Brown, Rhodes Scholarship, Oxford Masters, McKinsey, but is very much a social conservative. I'd say, if he can manage even moderate improvements in what by most metrics is one of the most backward states in the Union, and if the country can get used to an Indian candidate with a Southern accent, Jindal could make a very, very, interesting candidate for President following a Giuliani administration.
